Marie Huseby Cultural Fund: In 1950, Marie Huseby became a charter member of Alpha Delta Chapter. In 1989, Marie left Alpha Delta Seattle a bequest intended to enhance cultural opportunities and sisterhood of our chapter members. Through the Huseby Fund, we continue to benefit from her generous gift today as we seek out and choose museums, performances, and other cultural events to visit together each year.
Alpha Delta Seattle Scholarship Fund: Chapter members may apply for professional development to attend DKG meetings and events. *

Washington State Scholarships and Stipends: For DKG members with two or more years in the state, Washington State DKG offers scholarships and stipends for personal or professional staff development. Scholarships support post baccalaureate work or, for para-educators, initial teacher certification. Stipends are given to members for specialized studies, workshops, conferences, and travel study. Applications are due by February 1st of each year and may be downloaded from the state web site: http://www.dkgwa.org
Rachel Royston Scholarships: The Rachel Royston Scholarship is awarded annually to women educators in Washington State who are pursuing post baccalaureate degrees or National Board Certification in the field of education. Delta Kappa Gamma Society International Scholarships and Grants:
One of the benefits of membership in Delta Kappa Gamma is the opportunity to apply for significant scholarship assistance for master's or Ph.D. for (from $6,000 to $10,000). Smaller grants are also available for a wide range of professional and personal development programs, including travel study, conferences, seminars. Members and non-members may apply for project grants from the DKG Education Foundation. For complete details check the DKG Education Foundation web site: www.dkgef.org
A special leadership seminar is sponsored at the University of Texas, Austin, every other year, almost completely funded by Delta Kappa Gamma Society International. The seminar brings thirty DKG members from around the world together for an intense two week experience with University faculty. For details, see www.dkg.org
